Condolence: - Pat graduated with the rest of the "Grate UBC Civil Engineering Class of 1972" - he was always a Class Act and no doubt the smartest guy in our Civil Class. We all missed him at our 45th Civil Class Reunion held in Harrison Hot Springs last May and were all deeply saddened to hear of his recent passing.

- Bringing back one of those old and gold UBC Engineering sayings - our 1972 Civil Class will always remember Pat as being "one helluva an Engineer"!

- We will all definitely miss Pat and on behalf of the rest of his UBC classmates and myself I extend our deepest condolences to his family.

Condolence: Pat was a classmate of mine from UBC Civil Engineering-class of 72. He was indeed a real gentleman. I saw him last at our 40th reunion in Victoria-that was 2012- and we had a discussion about BCIT and his soils testing truck, which all the students seemed to love(my son amongst them)
Condolences to his family.

Condolence: Fran and I are so sorry for your loss, Donna. Pat was an integral part of the Civil Department for many years, and was always willing to do whatever had to be done. I know that his contributions were valued by the faculty and students, and he'll be remembered as a significant contributor to the lives and careers of many students.

Condolence: Pat inspired me to become a Geotechnical Engineer. I had my reservations about a career in engineering when I arrived at BCIT, but after taking Pat's courses I knew what I wanted to do! I am grateful for having known Pat, for his inspiration, and for his passion of geotechnical engineering.

Condolence: Pat was a great instructor and although my classes with Pat may have included some of the biggest 4" binders I had filled with geotechnical case studies, his lessons were very practical which I valued. Beyond the classroom, he was a great person and always offered a good laugh and conversation about real life. My deepest condolences to the family.
