The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dirk Seelemann can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Dirk Alexander Seelemann

Born February 24, 1941, passed peacefully on October 30, 2015 at Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody, BC. It was just a few short months ago that we learned of Dirk's illness and are grateful that he is no longer in pain. Dirk is remembered by his children: Sven, Alek and Ilene, Inga and Asa'ad; his grandchildren: Corin, Erica and Graeme; family in Germany; and friends too many to list in Ottawa around the world. He will be greatly missed.
