May 22, 1942 — November 8, 2023
Walter was joyful, kind, gentle and loving. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Lisa Steinson (Scott), grandson Ben, granddaughter Holly, extended family and friends.
He loved to keep busy. His spare time was spent building model airplanes and flying them, learning to pilot flying aircraft, sailing, skiing, and eventually building a functioning scale model of a sailboat he had restored (not quite complete, but will be finished by his daughter, Lisa), from scratch!
