Teresa Komorski

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Anita Komorski, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt.

Teresa was born on August 18th, 1982 in New Westminster, British Columbia. She grew up in Coquitlam and graduated from Riverside secondary school and the University of British Columbia. Teresa then moved to Vancouver and worked in teaching and community services as long as her health allowed.

Over the years, she enjoyed traveling to many countries around the world including several visits to Croatia, the country where her father was born. Throughout her life she was known to all of her friends and family as a great lover of animals, especially birds.

Teresa left us in April 2026, at the age of 43. She is remembered and deeply missed by her parents Josip and Janice, her brother Jason and sister-in-law Michelle, her sister Christina and brother-in-law Guillaume, her nephews Mathieu and Léo, and extended family and friends in both Canada and Croatia. Her spirit, free as a bird, rests now in eternal peace.
