Siew Loo Yeoh

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Yeoh Siew Loo, affectionately known to her friends as Marge Wong. Born on June 14, 1936, in Alor Star, Malaysia, she departed this life on April 18, 2026, at the age of 89. She now joyfully reunites with her devoted husband, James.

Together, they embarked on a journey of courage and hope, relocating their family to Canada in 1982 in pursuit of greater opportunities and a brighter future. Throughout her life, Yeoh Siew Loo was the cornerstone of her family, lovingly raising seven children and cherishing her thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A woman of boundless generosity, she delighted in nourishing others, both in heart and spirit. Her culinary talents were legendary; her home always open and her table abundantly spread, welcoming all who came, ensuring no one ever left hungry.

A celebration of her remarkable life will be held at Ladner Gospel Hall on Saturday, June 13, at 3:00 p.m., with a live stream available for those unable to attend in person. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Delta Hospital in lieu of flowers.

Yeoh Siew Loo's legacy of love, warmth, and selflessness will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her.
