Corporal Shaun Richard Pike, 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. He was a resident of Whitehorse, Yukon and a beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Shaun was born March 15th, 1959 in Bristol, England. He was a recently retired 26 year, member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Shaun enjoyed policing First Nations communities in BC, NWT and the Yukon and considered it his life’s calling. As an avid outdoorsman he passed that enthusiasm to his children.
Shaun is survived by his wife Christine, his children Rory (Devon), Jesse, Teagan, Emma-Grace and Daniel, his mother Kathleen, his grandchildren Niya and Kayla, his sister Maria (Garry), his brother Donald (Michelle), his sister Deb (Stuart) and his nieces and nephews Patrick (Andrea), Pamela (Eric), Daniel, Emily, Sarah (Corey) and Samuel. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred John Pike.
