A beyond capable daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother (Oma), and great-grandmother, Sharon Ann Campbell was born on March 11, 1946 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan to Louis and Margaret Jaeb.
She grew up nearby in a modest home on the family farm in Muenster, where she learned many invaluable life skills.
She married Steven Kent Campbell in the spring of 1968 and they remained married for 55 years until Kent’s death, December 21, 2023.
She put aside her career as a school teacher to devote her time to raising their four sons, which included supporting the move from Montreal to the West Coast in 1978. They settled in Coquitlam, where they had a modest home built in which to raise their young family. It remained their dwelling for 45 years, where their hospitality (complimented by Sharon’s amazing cooking) was enjoyed by hundreds of visits from family and friends.
Best known for her love of family, friends and neighbours, she will always be remembered for her exceptional culinary skills, and her Campbell’s Soup Collection.
She also enjoyed travelling the world, venturing to over 60 countries with her husband, Kent.
Sharon passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 18, 2024.
Sharon was predeceased by her husband Kent, her son Jared (May 19, 2024), and her parents. She is survived by three of her sons: Curtis, Connon, and Jarvis; eight grandchildren: Alleigra, Carson, Brielle, Noah, Braxton, Asher, Elsa, and Ivy; and one great-grandson: Llewyn
