Sandra Alexis Merke

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Alexis Merke, who passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Richmond, British Columbia, at the age of 78.

Sandra was a strong and caring woman whose warmth, resilience, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on those who knew her. She lived her life with quiet strength and a deep love for her family, always offering support, guidance, and comfort to the people she loved most.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Brooke Merke Lisa Merke, Shelley Merke, son Chris Merke her cherished grandchildren Marques Evans Merke along with Cody, Copper, Elizabeth, Chloe, and Emma. Along with her sister, Donna brother Barry and niece Alexis all family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Sandra’s life was defined by the love she shared with others and the meaningful moments spent with family and friends. Her presence brought comfort and strength to those around her, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the ANAVETS Common Room, 11820 No. 1 Road, Richmond, British Columbia, where family and friends are invited to gather and honor Sandra’s life and memory.

Sandra will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
