Ron passed away peacefully August 27, 2020 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 87.
Survived by his loving wife May, daughters Michele (Dave Moore), Cheryl (Michele Hue) and grandchildren Tiana and Adam Sarich.
Ron was a life long Fraternal member of the Masonic Order and a noble member of the Shrine. An avid sportsman, Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. After retirement from the waterfront he got involved with lawn bowling, golf and pitch and putt. The main focus of his life was always his family, grandchildren, work, and the Masonic Lodge.
Always quick with a laugh or a joke, Ron will be dearly missed by all.
A special thank you to all the staff at Vancouver General Hospital, The BC Cancer Foundation, and his doctors. To all those who sent cards, flowers, and well wishes, the love and support has been greatly felt and appreciated. The funeral will be a private family affair.
“And the spirit shall return unto God who gave it”
Donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency, and blood donations are encouraged.
