Noreen Sochowski

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Noreen Patricia Sochowski who died at the age of 63 at the Royal Columbian Hospital supported by family.

Her early years were spent working at St. Mary’s hospital where she made many friends and enjoyed interacting with the patients, especially the seniors.

Later in life Noreen worked at Thrifty’s in Coquitlam. Noreen was known for her love of animals. She was a friend to more than one neighbourhood cat and countless squirrels and crows. She cared deeply about their well being and also supported a number of animal charities.

Noreen had a passion for travel and enjoyed many trips abroad over the years. She was strong willed and had a wonderful sense of humour. She was a best friend to her Mother whom she looked after until her Mother’s move to the island.

She will be missed by those she left behind: mother Patricia, brother Randall (Leslie, Everett, Cameron and Alexander), sister Debra (Barry, Brenden and family, Jared and Sean), cousins Lynne (Lynne), Sharon, and dear friends Rose, Sharlee (Rick), Sharon and Cheryl.
