Miriam Chambers

Born January 1, 1927, in Vancouver, B.C. Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024 surrounded by her family. Merrie is survived by her sister Pam and family, Susan (Darryl), David (Natalie), Barbara (Robert) and Lisa (Peter) 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Merrie spent her childhood in Victoria and was a graduate of Victoria High School. Merrie married Gordon Chambers and they raised their four

children in Vancouver B.C. Merrie's love for children led her to volunteer for many years at Sunnyhill Children's Hospital. Merrie was dedicated to her church and spent many happy hours volunteering at St. Faith's Anglican Church. Merrie was an accomplished homemaker, florist and office administrator. Her love of adventure steered her to discover skiing and traveling. Merrie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Merrie’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on July 19, 2024 at St. Faith’s Anglican Church, 7284 Cypress St., Vancouver. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Children’s Make a Wish Foundation.
