Michael Bruce Jamieson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Bruce Jamieson on September 14, 2026, at the age of 62.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Mike spent most of his life in the city he loved and proudly called home. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, quiet strength, and the warmth he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.

Mike fought a lengthy battle with cancer with remarkable determination and courage. Although serious complications arose following his treatments which cured his cancer, Mike never gave up. Throughout his journey, he faced every challenge with strength, dignity, and hope. His resilience and bravery were an inspiration to his family and friends.

Above all, Mike treasured the people in his life. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Michelle; his son, Christopher; Michelle's son, Corey Sharyk; his brothers, Aaron and Sean; his cherished grandchildren, William and Olivia Sharyk; his aunts, Sharon, Marian, and Kathleen; as well as his many cousins, other extended family members, and so many dear friends who will miss him deeply. Mike was predeceased by his mother, Maureen; his father, Ted; his Aunt Patsy; and his Uncle Ken.

While our hearts ache by the loss, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and memories he gave us. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will remain with all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pacific Spirit United Church, 2195 West 45th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, in the Fireside/Dogwood Room

Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
