In Loving Memory of Lynne Kathrine Kennie July 20, 1950 – August 21, 2025

Lynne Kathrine Kennie passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, in Coquitlam, British Columbia, at the age of 75. Born in New Brunswick, Canada, to Edythe Voila (Sprague) Kennie and Ira Hamilton Kennie, Lynne lived a life full of adventure, compassion, and spirited determination.

A proud graduate of Saint John’s School of Nursing, Lynne dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Her passion for nurturing life led her to specialize in neonatal care, where she lovingly supported countless newborns and their families. Her generosity extended beyond her profession—Lynne fostered many children over the years, offering them warmth, stability, and care.

Lynne was an adventurous and sassy world traveler, always curious about the world and eager to explore it. She spent the last 25 years of her life in the Tri-Cities area of British Columbia, where she found joy in her community, volunteered her time, and embraced the beauty of nature around her.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and Nana. Lynne is survived by her sons Erol Adam Kennie and Richard Chancellor Lavigne, her daughters Adrienne Elise Lavigne and Charlyce Aline Lavigne, and her cherished grandchildren Bronson Richard Lavigne-Moniuk and Freya Leigh Lavigne-Orne.

Lynne’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the children she nurtured. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
