In Loving Memory of Katrina "Kay" Cordick (née Hawryluk) Katrina "Kay" Cordick (née Hawryluk), born May 26, 1924, in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at Madison Care Centre, just three days shy of her 102nd birthday.
Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband, Earl George Cordick, who passed away on September 8, 1984. Kay and Earl were married in 1949 and together built a loving home, raising six sons and creating a family legacy that now spans generations.
She leaves behind her sons and their families: Wayne (Linda), Christopher (Robyn), Gregory, Arness (Andrea, Sarah (Lawrence), Adam (Kelsey), and Emma, Michael (Ute), Sang-Lee, Pepy (Nancy), Justin (Alisa), Brianne (Stephan), and Tanner (Danielle), Mark (Enia), Wesley (Claire), Daniel (Stephanie), Lucas (Stephanie), Donny (Fidelma), Liam and Kendra.
Kay was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 20 great-grandchildren:
Hayden, Jace, Jaxon, Sage, Lilac, William, Harper, Callum, Cali, Noah, Samuel, Desmond, Leonello, Olivio, Aria, Nico, Teddy, Willa, Bobby and Noah
She is also survived by her dear sister, Lena Stolarchuk of Wynyard, Saskatchewan, the last surviving member of her immediate family, as well as many extended family members in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and California.
Kay's life was centered on family, love, hard work, and devotion to those she cared for. She treasured tamily gatherings and took immense pride in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow and flourish. Her warmth, strength, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of her family and friends. At Kay's request, the family will hold a private celebration of life.
