John Robert Daniel Gallant

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Dan Gallant on December 28, 2025, at Burnaby Hospital. He was the cherished son of the late Henry and Rosie Gallant. Dan leaves behind his devoted wife, Marion; his sons, Shaun and Darcy (Theresa); beloved grandchildren, Dakota and Olivia; brothers Rod (Mary) and Dale; sisters Audrey (Leo), Barbara (Gordon), and Beverley (Raymond); along with many nieces and nephews.

He built a successful career as a banker and, in retirement, devoted his time to serving others through his active involvement with Rotary World Help.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital and all those who serve in Emergency Services. Our sincere thanks also go to the Burnaby ICU team—the doctors, nurses, and caregivers—for their exceptional compassion and care during this difficult time. A celebration of Dan’s life will be announced at a later date.
