Janice Franklin

October 19, 1945 — February 21, 2021

Janice Franklin passed away peacefully at Eagle Ridge Hospital at the age of 75 on February 21, 2021. She is survived by her loving daughter Darlene, sister Laurie, extended family in Ontario and Manitoba, and by her two very large cats Vincent and Greyson.

Janice worked in manufacturing as a master scheduler, taught evening courses at BCIT and was an active member of the APICS professional association. She loved life, loved to read, was curious about science, was an avid world traveler, and a long time volunteer coordinator at the Red Cross depot in Port Coquitlam. She also volunteered at the Trinity Church soup kitchen and the Eagle Ridge Hospital gift shop, as well as for the Women’s Shelter in Port Coquitlam. Her Celebration of Life will be held in Ontario once COVID restrictions are lifted.

If local friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tri-Cities Transitions Society. Please follow this link:  Donate
