James Caddo

Is it with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Edward Allan Caddo who lost his battle to cancer at Mission Hospice in Mission BC on August 27, 2019 with his wife Theresa by his side.

James was predeceased by his father Lorne Caddo, grandparents Lavina and Owen Roberts, Margaret and Russell Caddo and several aunts and uncles.

Left to mourn are his wife Theresa and his two step-children Katrina (Jon), Barrera and grandchildren Joel and Sadie, John Dauphney, his in laws John and Donna Dauphney. His brother in law Don (Celine) Dauphney and nephew Micah and his mother Sandra Caddo, sister Ellen (Mike) Spear of Thunder Bay along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jim loved his job working for Stericycle as a truck driver and all the staff he worked with. Jim also enjoyed being with his family, each and every one of them. He was loved by all who has the pleasure of knowing him.

He has many hobbies, cars being his passion (Mopar). He was a true Dodge man and he was involved in a Mopar car club (CMC - Canadian Mopar Club).

In his early years he loved hunting, NASCAR and military modeling. He built several models which one was on display in a movie. He loved spending time drinking coffee at Starbucks and enjoyed visiting his best friend Doug Spencer. Most of all, he loved being Papa Jimmy.

Jim in his early years was a member of the Army Reserves and he was very passionate about history and the military where he drove a truck in the Army Reserves in Thunder Bay. He later worked for MacMillan Bloedel for 20 years, then later went back to driving trucks that he enjoyed for many years.

Jim never met a person he did not call a friend. He was truly a good man through and through.

We would like to thank the Mission Hospice for all that they have done for Jim and our family. Donations to your charity of choice in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
