Gerald Eric Miller

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Gerry” Eric Miller, at the age of 82.

In 1966, Gerry married the love of his life, Joanne, beginning a marriage that lasted 60 years. Together they built a family and shared a lifetime of memories. He was one of 11 children, and will be lovingly remembered by his brother Albert and sister Shirley.

Gerry was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Joanne; his son, Leonard; and his daughter, Tannis. He was grandfather to, Corey, Tatum, Presley, Kandace, Charlie, Brendin, Cooper and Nathan, and his great-grandchildren, Royce, Wesley, Duke, Hayden, Harrison and Eloise.

Throughout his working life, Gerry held several different jobs before beginning his career with BC Hydro/Terasen on January 11, 1974. He remained there for 30 years, retiring on January 11, 2004.

Gerry loved old cars, old music, and a good laugh. He had a sassy sense of humour and always seemed to have a quick comment or a bit of teasing ready.

Gerry’s greatest legacy is the family he loved and the many lives he touched along the way.

He will be missed by his family and friends, along with all the laughs, stories, and memories they shared with him.
