Ethel Joan Kehler

It’s with great pain and sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Ethel Joan Kehler. She was an absolute warrior the last year of her life, overcoming so many obstacles. Joan was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to John and Ethel Gowetor on November 19th, 1940. She met and married the love of her life, Len Kehler in Regina and made the move for Len’s job to BC and settled in Port Coquitlam, where they raised their kids. Later in retirement, they moved to Garden Court Co-op in Coquitlam, where she lived until her death March 15, 2026 Joan is survived by her son Scot, daughter, Leanne, as well as grandson’s Colton (Hayley), and Tyler. Brother-in-law Bob (Gladys), sister-in-law Lorna(Rick), sister-in-law, Phyllis and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her mom, Dad, brother (Rick) and husband Len. A celebration of life to be held soon, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Eagle Ridge Hospital foundation or Crossroads hospice Society.
