Debra Lynn Trent passed peacefully on September 9, 2021 at the age of 65after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Debbie was born in 1956 in Vancouver and grew up primarily in Coquitlam. She was very active in track and field at school and enjoyed photography and scrapbooking, a hobby she kept for much of her life.
Debbie graduated from the Royal Columbian Hospital School of Nursing in 1977. Her career as a Registered Nurse and later a Home Health Case Manager for Fraser Health was spent caring for others in both hospital and community settings. Married in 1978,she devoted much of her time to her two children Michelle and Nelson and was an incredibly loving, selfless and thoughtful mother. Debbie enjoyed camping, nature, reading, and all animals with a soft spot for dogs.
Debbie is predeceased by her fatherLeo, and survived by mother Alma, husband Rick, daughter Michelle(Matthew), son Nelson (Melanie), step son Ian (Shannon), step-son Jon(Jennifer), sister Barbara (Ken) and brother Robert (Annette). She will be dearly missed but always loved by family and friends alike. No public service is planned as per Debbie's Wishes.
