Daniel Lyle Vandale

It is with heavy hearts; we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Lyle Vandale. October 4, 1959-August 14, 2025.

Dan was born in Saskatoon, SK and moved to Vancouver in 1967. He had a long working history with Vulcan Automotive/Industrial Engines.

Dan is survived by his brother, Jim Vandale and his sisters Shelley Warwick (Tom), Barbara Vandale. Predeceased by his parents, Cliff and Marge Vandale, brothers John, Joe, and Stan. Sisters; Marie Quiring, Karen Hurst, and Melody Dolemo. Also predeceased by his sister in-law Bonnie Vandale, brother in law Pete Quiring. Dan endured several medical conditions. He dealt with these with persistence and a wicked sense of humour. 

Dan was a huge, faithful fan of the Canucks! He loved camping, spending time with his siblings, playing dominoes, and various card games. He was also a great cook. 

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at Royal Canadian Legion Hall (1025 Ridgeway Ave. Coquitlam, BC) at 1 pm.
