Conrad Joseph "Don" Denis, 74, of Port Moody, BC, sadly passed away on Sept 29, 2024, in Port Moody, BC after a brave battle against leukemia. He was surrounded by his wife Marg, daughters Wendy & Niki and son Mike.
A Celebration of his Life will take place Friday November 1 at 2PM at the Port Moody Legion. We hope that you can join and share some jokes, laughs and of course a few beers!
Don was born in Burnaby to Venetta Wesley & Gabriel Denis on September 20, 1950. He lived in the Lower Mainland throughout his life, mostly in the Tri-Cities. He worked at Johnson Terminals for many years before his career as a technician at BC TEL/TELUS for 27 years. He was able to retire at the age of 60 and do the things he loved most: daily walks, spending time with family and friends, a bit of keno and listening to music. He very much enjoyed his Saturday afternoon Coors Lites with his friends (especially Ken & Rick!) at the Legion.
Don is survived by his wife, Marg of almost 54 years, daughter Wendy (Dianne), son Mike, daughter Niki (Craig), grandson Connor and step-grandkids Ben and Alex. Don is also survived by his lifelong friend Ken Hanson.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Stephen Nantel, Dr. Vicky Chan and Dr. Taylor who provided excellent care up until his last days.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Cancer Society in Don’s name.
