It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad passing of our beloved cousin Chandler Smith. Chandler passed away on February 16, 2026, after the passing of her father, Robert Smith, who died on October 25, 2025. Words feel small in moments like this, when someone who meant so much to us is suddenly no longer here. The loss of both of them so closely has left an empty space in our family that can never truly be filled.
Chandler was more than just family, she was a friend, a source of laughter, and an adventurous soul. Whether it was through her warm smile, her kind heart, or the way she could brighten even the darkest days, she had a gift for making people feel valued and loved. Time spent together at family gatherings, celebrations, and even quiet moments will forever remain cherished memories. Chandler taught us the importance of compassion, resilience, and staying connected to the people who matter most. We always knew where we stood with her as she wore her heart on her sleeve. The stories we shared about her worldwide adventures, the jokes we laughed at, and the support she offered will live on in our hearts. Though her life may have been cut short at the tender age of 40, the impact she made will last a lifetime.
As we grieve these tremendous losses of Chandler and her father, we also celebrate their lives that brought joy, love, compassion, hugs, laughter and meaning to so many. We hold on to the memories, the lessons, and the love that will continue to guide us.
Rest peacefully, dear cousin and Uncle. You will always be remembered, deeply missed, and forever loved.
