It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bryce (Carl) Maclock.
Carl was born on July 13th, 1971 in Collinsville, Quebec. He passed away at the age of 54 on the 20th of December 2025.
In his youth he enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin on Lake Edith in Jasper, Alberta. Carl also enjoyed participating in many water sports such as boating, skiing, wake boarding, wind surfing, and later as a young adult, he was fond of cliff diving. As a boy he and his family would also go on long bicycle treks.
Carl made a career as a cabinet installer. He had a very kind heart and truly enjoyed sharing conversations with others. Carl was a foodie, and loved spending time with his boys listening to music, watching movies and cooking for them. One fond memory is whenever, and no matter how much it snowed, he would always send a message saying "It's the blizzard of..." whatever year it was. His playful sense of humour will be missed.
Carl leaves behind his loving mother, Mary, father Bruce, siblings Kim and Don, as well as his beloved sons Levi and Dakota.
In loving memory of Carl, may he rest in peace.
