Beverley Aitchison

Taken from us far too soon, Bev (Beverley) Aitchison passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 14, 2023. She was 64. Originally from Montreal, Bev spent a large portion of her life in Mississauga raising her family before relocating to the west coast with her husband in 2013 to be closer to her kids.

Bev was a joy to be around and she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends and enjoying time at the West End dog park watching the local dogs run around. She gave generously and was always one to stand up for the underdog.

Lovingly survived by her husband Gary, daughter Shannon and partner Kent, her son Grant, her older sister Cyndie Adamo, and her many nephews and nieces, who will greatly miss her energetic spirit and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Oswald and Marguerite Blachford, and her brother Paul Blachford.

Bev struggled with polycystic kidney disease and took part in a unique and successful transplant program, without which, she would not have enjoyed the last almost decade of her life in the way she did.

In consideration of this, donations to the Kidney Foundation in Bev’s name would be greatly appreciated.
