It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Barry Fleming at the age of 53. Barry was born to Ken and Ann Fleming on June 19, 1971, in Vancouver B.C. A beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, cousin and friend. Barry left this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and unforgettable memories.
Barry is survived by his devoted mother Ann and siblings, Daryl (Erin), Dorian (Becky), Debbie (Lynn). Terri, Bonnie (Peter), Kenny (Kasana) and Elaine (Daniel). He was a proud and loving father to his sons, Taylor (Kehndra), David, and Quinn (Madison) and Bossman to his loving grandchildren, Michael, Addison and William. Plus his extended North Delta Family.
Barry was known for his generous spirit, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved and a sense of humour that would light up the room. His presence was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Barry enjoyed sports. Playing ice hockey (Killarney), baseball (Renfrew Heights), box and field lacrosse (Vancouver Killarney, Richmond and Vancouver Burrards) and football (Renfrew). Barry coached lacrosse and hockey teams and was a Beavers, Cubs and Scouts leader. Barry enjoyed watching the Canucks, Lions, Canadians and all local teams of all sports. Barry enjoyed golf and water-skiing and skydiving.
Barry was the greatest Windermere Warrior of them all.
Barry was an accomplished drywaller and for the past 7 years worked as a Service Technician for Macleans Drywall. Everyday Barry brought a smile and endless energy.
A celebration of life will be held at Kingsway Church, 4061 Kingsway Church, Burnaby on June 28, 2025, at 1:00. Barry was dedicated custodian to the Foursquare Camp on Chilliwack Lake and final wish was to maintain the camp and to provide financial support to children wanting to attend camp.
