Arne Carlson

May 12 the New York Yankees lost one of their greatest fans, the NBA REFS one on their harshest critics and our family have lost the man who brought so much love and laughter into our lives. Arne will be deeply missed by his wife Judi, his daughters Janelle(Martin) and Stephanie (Ioan) his cherished grandchildren Daisy and Fiona. Arne was a dedicated teacher in New Westminster who loved being approached by his former students either on our local streets or in the pub to have a quick chat reminiscing about the many teams he’d coached and the games he refereed. Over his long tenure he proved to be a valued colleague and friend sharing many laughter filled experiences. Arne was preceded in death by his son Matthew and both will be held closely in our hearts.

A celebration will be held for Arne on June 19, 3-6 pm at the Royal City Curling Club New Westminster for family and close friends.
