Obituary for Randall Jay "Randy" Cook

On December 13, 2022 Randy Cook passed away in Maple Ridge at the age of 69. Randy was predeceased by his mother Helen, his father John, and step-sister, Diane. He is survived by several family members including cousins, Wendy and Gerry. He will be remembered by a multitude of friends both inside and outside of the motorcycling community.

As a passionate rider and lover of motorcycles, Randy was the owner of RC Cyclelogics Rider Training in Maple Ridge and had been a motorcycle rider for over 50 years. His involvement included, at times, motorcycle racing and he loved to chat with other racers at the track. He was a proud member of the BC Coalition of Motorcyclists (BCCOM) and a past member of the BeeCee Beemers Motorcycle Club. He was a regular participant at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show and many will remember him as their riding instructor at the BC Safety Council and at RC Cyclelogics Rider Training. In 2006, Randy was also involved in Pitt Meadows Track Days with the owner, Nancy, where he was the track designer and instructor on site to present “chalk talks” to new riders.

When weather permits, a memorial ride will be organized in the spring of 2023, if you would like to celebrate Randy's life with the motorcycle riding community. If you would like to donate to his estate, with residual going to the BCCOM of which he was passionate, please do so at the Memorial Fund set up for Randy.
