Life Story for Martin Wall

Following months of declining health, Martin passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus early on May 17th, 2019. Martin was born in Chihuahua, Mexico but, when he was two, his family moved to Red River Valley near Winnipeg Manitoba. Although Martin was born blind, at the age of 4 he stumbled and hit his head. Suddenly he could see and immediately told his mother, who joyfully exclaimed, "Our prayers have been answered!"

Martin experienced much adversity in his life, including the death of his mother and sister in a car accident when he was 13 years old. Martin enjoyed a long career as a chef and enjoyed cooking many dinners at home for family and friends.

In 1994, Martin wrote a book about his life (A Boy That Needed Love) and how the Lord saved him out of a life of alcoholism. He believed God wanted him to share the miracles He had preformed in his life, stories of God's grace and hope that Martin faithfully shared with others to the very end of his earthly life.

Martin was predeceased by his parents Peter and Suzanna Wall, his brothers Peter, Henry, John, Jacob, Frank, his sister Mary, and his son Robert Martin Wall. Martin will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Corinne, daughter Susanne (Reza) Saryazdi, his brother Richard (Stella) Wall, sister-in-law Agatha Wall, his five grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be held on June 2, 2019 at 3:00pm at Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship in Coquitlam. In keeping with Martin's wishes and personal life mission, memorial donations may be made to Hope for Freedom Society.
