Obituary for Kevin Andrew Ross
Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Kevin Andrew Ross passed peacefully at the young age of 51 on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 on Annacis Island (Delta) B.C.
Kevin was born in Calgary Alberta to parents Ronald Leo Thompson and Eva Lorraine Ross on March 23, 1968 and was one of nine siblings: Catherine Vanloo, Cassandra Limoges, Wade Nicol, Dianna Handerson, Cameron Thompson, Gayle Fletcher, Warren Thompson and Shawn Gordon.
Kevin grew up in Calgary and attended Shawnessy High School. Kevin was active in cadets for five years and subsequently worked as a personal bodyguard, bouncer and Cargo Relocation Engineer (commonly known as truck driver).
For the past four years, Kevin lived with the love of his life Debra Ann Diamond (Nielsen), her sons Brandon Unrau and Cody Diamond and his son Dorian Ross. Kevin’s other children are Riley, and Eric and Dustin MacAllister. Kevin was amazing with children and youth and known by many as Bubba or Uncle Bubba. Several sought his council and considered him a father image. Long time honorary family include Vanessa Lawson, Dustin and Sheldon Davis with significant others too many to list (You know who you are and know Kevin loved you).
Kevin loved to cook, was an avid reader, loved anything nature, loved driving and loved family. Kevin will be fondly remembered by loving family and friends. Know you were all very important to Kevin.
