Obituary for Fabian Fitz Arthur "Paul" Brown

It is with sadness that we announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle Paul (Fabian, Fitzarthur) Brown. August 6, 1949 to December 5, 2022.

Paul is survived by his children Yul Brown (Tyra and Justice) and Mimi Brown (Fabian, Isaiah, and Levi) and great grandchildren; Siblings Lola Hibbert , Errol Brown (Lorraine), Eartha Gyles, Nair, Dorrine (Michael), and Angela (Calbert), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paul was predeceased by his parents Egbert and Elizabeth Brown, siblings Edel, Lilieth, and Joyce.

Paul loved, fine dining, entertainment, music, singing, and dancing. He was an excellent dancer and liked to show the latest dance moves to family and friends. His all time favourite entertainer was James Brown or "The Godfather of Soul". Paul would have his suits tailored in the same style as James Brown.

Paul was loyal and generous; he loved a good laugh, and was a practical joker. Born in Kingston Jamaica, he attended Meadowbrook High School, until he immigrated to the UK in his late teens. After attending college, He worked as the Manager of the Gaumont Theatre in Wolverhampton. When he moved to Winnipeg Canada, he worked for several employers, and finally he made a career as a bus driver for BC transit system until retirement.

He will be missed.
